Jumpstart After-School Program

The Jumpstart After-School Program meets in room 29 at Memorial Elementary School during the hours of 3:10-5:30pm.  Students in grades K-5 can attend the program on a full-time (4-5 days), or part-time (1-2 days) per week basis.

The Jumpstart Program emphasizes healthy snacks, activities, and habits, please send your child with a healthy snack each day.  The children have time outdoors (weather permitting) every day or gym time.  Everyone does homework or quiet reading; then they will enjoy crafts, games, and play with staff and their peers until they are picked up.

The program does NOT meet when school is not in session, or on early release days due to weather.  On school half days, the program meets from 1:10-5:30pm.

There is no additional charge for half school days.  The maximum enrollment is 25.  For additional information and registration paperwork, please contact Heather Holbrook at 860-367-5429 or the Parks & Recreation Deparment at 860-267-7300.

  • $20.00 enrollment fee
  • $65.00 per week
  • $55.00 for second child
  • $16.00 per day for part-time enrollment
